About Us:

We are currently seeking qualified and motivated instructors to join our team and provide high-quality training for US Navy personnel attending the Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape (SERE) course. At our organization, we believe in fostering a positive and professional learning environment for our students. Responsibilities:

You will support and instruct various topics for classes of up to 62 students, with each class lasting 12 days. The training involves a combination of classroom and field (austere) settings. Your responsibilities will include:

Conducting Contract Instructor Training
Researching and preparing SERE subject matter and class materials
Managing and supporting student activities
Distributing, issuing, managing, and repairing student gear
Participating in training scenario "in-role" assignments as outlined in the course curriculum
Assisting in the preparation of Remote Training Site (RTS) student training areas
Collaborating in classroom preparation, student administration, test proctoring, and safety procedures to ensure a secure learning environment
General Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should:

Possess high personal standards of technical knowledge and professional competence
Be comfortable working in a military environment
Have familiarity with the organization and hierarchy of the U.S. Navy, military rank/grade structure, and terminology
Demonstrate knowledge of basic and training techniques and computer technology applications in instructional delivery
Hold a SECRET clearance and certifications in Basic First Aid and CPR or Basic Life Support
Basic Instructor Qualifications:

Qualified instructors should have one of the following qualifications:

We are attendance or military service equivalent
Academic credentialing (teacher/professor) or instructor training via an academic institution
Direct experience as a current or previously qualified DoD Instructor at a Joint Personnel Recovery Agency (JPRA) certified Level "C" Code of Conduct School
Physical Requirements:

Instructors must be able to participate in SERE training events in rough terrain and varied climates, requiring the ability to lift/carry 45 pounds, walk up multiple flights of stairs, walk up to six (6) miles per day with a rucksack, and provide up to ten (10) consecutive hours of instruction.

Position Details:

Periodic travel to remote locations required
Successful candidates are expected to sign a statement of understanding regarding physical fitness
Dress code and grooming standards apply
