Job description

Pay: 27.37/hr

Schedule: Monday thorugh Friday 8:00-4:30 PM

Analytical laboratory skills required; liquid chromatography experience a plus


Principal Accountabilities:
20% - Provide support to research scientists in the completion of research projects or activities, including analytical method validation
60% - Conduct routine sample analysis, routine experiments, organizing and communicating results
10% - Maintain laboratory equipment, and handling sample request
10% - Ensure corporate EHS and Food Safety compliance

Required:
Bachelor's degree or higher in in Chemistry, Food Science, or related scientific fields,
Minimum 2 years chemistry lab experience (higher education can substitute experience)
o Including experience with standard chemistry lab glassware and techniques
Effective communication skills (written, verbal and listening)
Effective organizational skills
Ability to work independently effectively and cooperatively in a team environment
Demonstrated willingness to learn
Attention to detail

Preferred:
Master's degree in Analytical Chemistry, Natural Product Chemistry, Food Science, or related scientific fields
Experience in an analytical laboratory or natural product research
Experience in food analysis
HPLC, UHPLC, and HPLC-MS experience
