Job Description
What will you do?
The Associate Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting the Finance Department of the North America Clinical Trials Division with core reporting, budgeting, analytics, key performance indicators (KPIs), trending, and other ad-hoc tasks. This position will require 15 hours of commitment per week. The Associate Financial Analyst will initially need to come to the Allentown office in person for the first 2-3 weeks to be trained on the tasks that will be taken on but can transition to fully remote afterwards for the duration of the contract term of 6 months.

Education
Currently pursuing a bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance at a four-year college or university
Responsibilities
Prepare, analyze, and report on regular weekly revenue forecasts
Prepare, analyze, and report on monthly financial deliverables to Finance, Commercial, and Operational leaders
Contribute towards advancing revenue and expense analytical capabilities
Develop Key Performance Indicators and metrics
Assist in Annual Operating Plan preparation
Assist with all financial reports and presentations (weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually)
Proficient ability to extract system financial information to analyze, verify, and draw conclusions
Ad hoc requests
Demonstrates and promotes the company vision

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Current 2nd or 3rd year student at a four-year college or university pursuing a bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
Ability to make logical assumptions, identify trends, incorporate external and internal information, draw conclusions from ambiguous data, and effectively benchmark results against appropriate baselines
Ability to analyze and communicate variances to management is required to be successful in this position
Strong business partnership ability exhibited through written communication, and clear and concise verbal skills
Strong skills with Microsoft Office applications including but not limited to Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
Ability to manage multiple assignments, possess good judgment, and prioritize projects and time effectively.
