Job description
We are looking for a Radiologic Technoligist - X-Ray
Requirements:ARRT Radiography registration requiredWI-DSPS radiographer license required if working in WisconsinBLS Certification through AHA Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerforms diagnostic radiographic, portable, c-arm and fluoroscopic procedures.
Corroborates patient's clinical history with procedure, ensuring information is documented and available to the radiologist and provider.Prepares and positions patient for procedures, providing instructions to obtain desired results, gain cooperation and minimize anxiety.Selects and operates imaging equipment, image capture devices and accessories to successfully perform procedures.Positions patient to best demonstrate anatomic area of interest, respecting patient ability and comfort.Immobilizes patient as required for examination.Assumes responsibility for provision of physical and psychological needs of patient during procedures.Initiates basic life support when necessary.
