Job description

We are looking for Servo Motor Repair Technician position include the repair of Servo Motors and testing. Experience in Servo Motor repair is required along with ability to test functionality of each unit repaired and align feedbacks. Must be able to order parts as necessary and have strong basic knowledge of Basic Electronics and be able to use a computer. Technicians will be required to perform repairs of units down to component level, practice good troubleshooting skills, use basic and specialized tools and test equipment to insure complete repairs.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Proper motor disassembly and reassembly
• Pre-cleaning and diagnostic evaluation
• Perform preventive maintenance
• Replace bearings
• Test electrical and servo feedback devices
• Utilize test equipment such as oscilloscopes along with manufacturers software
• Use of Mitchell Electronics for feedback
• Perform reliability testing using amplifier and drive
• Use of basic and specialized shop tools and test equipment
• Clean and paint motors
