The Payroll Tax and Banking Associate will support the work being done in our Payroll Tax Services Department. The Payroll Tax and Banking Associate will be responsible for various functions within the Payroll Tax department as stated below.

*Open to a hybrid schedule reporting to our corporate head quarters in West Chester, PA 2 times a week. This can also be a fully remote position. 

What YOU will be doing:

• Reconciling various banking transactions on a daily basis
• Maintaining and balancing clients’ accounts
• Electronic ACH debit or payment processing
• NACHA payment formatting
• Pull reports and company details from Master Tax for Client and CSRs
• Resolving NSF bank rejections
• Respond to messages and emails from clients
• Performing routine internal audits
• Problem research and resolution
• Providing support functions to management and operations
• Providing assistance with quarter-end/year-end reconciliation and processing

Success will come if you have: 

• Experience in payroll tax and/or banking
• BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or related business field (strongly recommended)
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Experience with MasterTax (preferred)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Efficient and effective multi-tasking
• Strong attention to detail
• High level of accuracy
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally
• Strong analytical and auditing skills
• Able to work overtime when needed
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to work well under pressure
