Job description
We are seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join our team. This individual will be responsible for managing multiple engagements, providing accounting and auditing services, and developing staff members. The Audit Manager must have excellent problem-solving and communication skills, and be familiar with applicable auditing and accounting standards (such as GAAP and IFRS).
Position Overview:
The Audit Manager will manage the completion of audit engagements and provide accounting and auditing services to clients in various industries, including construction, manufacturing, and real estate. They will review financial statements, conduct fraud examinations, and ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, direct, and manage the completion of audit engagements
- Review financial statements and ensure accuracy of financial data
- Conduct fraud examinations, forensic reports, and other assurance services
- Develop and coach staff members
- Ensure that audit processes and internal controls are effective
- Advise clients on accounting, auditing, and compliance issues
- Stay current on applicable auditing and accounting standards
Qualifications:
- CPA required
- 2+ years of Management experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial statement requirements
- Experience with construction, manufacturing, and/or real estate
