Location This role requires 4 days per week office attendance in Walnut Creek, CA. The office and is conveniently located near public transportation (BART), is ideally situated for bicycle commuters, there's plenty of free parking, and an abundance of eateries in the surrounding area.
Position Summary Canadian Solar, Inc. is actively seeking a Business Development Manager to join our growing residential energy storage business unit. The associate will drive social media & digital sales campaigns to optimize targeted outreach initiatives. In this role, you will:
- Collaborate with division leaders, managers, and technical stakeholders on the planning, development, and execution of targeted business development activities
- Organize and host webinars, videos, and training sessions using digital tools like video, email and newsletters to attract potential customers to the Canadian Solar product line
- Produce visually appealing graphics for email and digital outreach to potential customers
- Develop strategic social media campaigns through various media channels (YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) to increase brand awareness, leads and website traffic.
- Use data to analyze effectiveness of business development activities, making frequent strategic changes to enhance performance and reach different corners of the market
- Manage key performance indicator (KPI) reporting, sharing results with senior leadership and driving change as needed
- Drive attendance to tradeshows and industry events through targeted outreach and digital relationship building
Qualifications & Requirements - Bachelor's degree in business, communications, marketing, or relatable degree
- Min 5 years experience in B2B sales outreach and new business development
- 5+ years of hands on experience using digital sales marketing tools to develop & produce email marketing campaigns, social media communications, and new business outreach
- Experience functioning within Solar, Energy Storage, EV, Wind, or renewables is a plus!
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills with the ability to translate stakeholders' concepts and develop tailored content to target specific audiences
- Experience using CRM (Salesforce), MS Office (Excel) and Pardot (Sales Automation Tools),
- Creative problem-solver with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-starter with a sense of humor and positive, can-do professional demeanor who requires little oversight.

The pay range for this position is $90,000 - $120,000 This range represents annual base salary only, without regard to location, and does not include bonuses or incentives or benefits that may apply. The pay range for this role is subject to change.
