Job description
This role will pull and analyze data from our website's organic search performance and provide strategic, analytical guidance for the global SMC business unit. This role will help to drive data-informed strategies for the SMC organization, measuring our business goals and KPIs, conducting deep-dive analyses, and facilitating insights-based decisions.
The ideal candidate will take a proactive approach to analyzing our SEO performance ongoing, consistently striving to diagnose gaps and uncover areas of opportunity through site performance, keyword analysis, and competitive landscape. Leveraging available tools, the SEO Analyst will provide regular reporting, surface findings, and communicate SEO growth opportunities to the team. They should have a deep understanding of SEO best practices, forecasting experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to provide actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders across content, marketing, sales, data science, and engineering teams.
Responsibilities: - Conduct regular audits and analysis of website performance, leveraging SEO tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console, to track key metrics, identify trends, and generate actionable insights.
- Build forecasting SEO models to help drive the strategy behind growth and marketing initiatives
- Identify levers for revenue & retention growth, efficiency enhancement and investments to unlock non-linear business growth.
- Design and influence proactive programs to drive advertiser growth and revenue for the global SMC organization.
- Advocate for key SMC-oriented insights and recommendations with partner teams, including product, marketing, sales and operations.
- Create dashboards using internal reporting tools, provide reporting summaries for the state of the business & monitor ongoing experiments.
- Provide quantitative support, market understanding and a strategic perspective to SMC and its partner teams on all questions involving small and medium businesses.
- Drive communication and influence a broad range of stakeholders including executives.

Minimum Qualifications: - Proven experience as an SEO Analyst, with a track record of optimizing organic search performance and driving results.
- Proficient in using SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Moz, or similar tools.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior management.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and project management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Experience working with sales, marketing, and/or customer service organizations.
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience working with analytics and ROI measurement with small businesses.
- Experience with Looker
- Experience with online or digital ad measurement.
