Responsibilities:

• Enter incoming work orders.
• Speak with clients regarding their outstanding/completed work orders.
• Coordinate/schedule on staff maintenance and vendors to complete outstanding work orders.
• Accept, complete, and file the City of Columbia rental compliance inspections/paperwork.
• Ordering appliances, parts, etc.
• Following up with staff and vendors regarding finished/ongoing issues
• Ensure all properties and its components are up to code and functional. 
• Maintain open communication with other department heads

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in maintenance management.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel and property management software (preferable Appfolio).
• Must have a level of knowledge, skills, and competency in using computers and related technologies.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• High school diploma/GED preferred.

Education:

• High school diploma/GED preferred.

Preferred experience:

• Experience in maintenance, administration, and/or project management.
