A to Z has an immediate 1st shift Utility opening in our growing fabrication shop. Hours are Monday-Thursday 5:00 am 3:00 pm.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Sandblasting
- Handles and transports materials.
- Operates saw to ensure materials are sawed to the right length.
- Assists with various tasks within the fabrication shop, including:
- Dyad Gluing Process
- Assist with Waterjet Operation
- Assist with maintaining the equipment.
- Helps with shipping and receiving related duties.
- General shop organization and cleanup.
- Operate heat treatment equipment.
- Follows 6S procedures.
- Follows all safety procedures and protocol.
- Willingness to cross-train. (Waterjet and/or Welding)
- Required to pass and wear respirator to perform essential functions.
- Additional duties as assigned.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) - preferred
Experience:
- At least 1 year of manufacturing experience - preferred
- Experience operating a forklift, but will train - preferred
Skills:
- Proficient with tape measure
- Safe operation of forklift
- Self-sufficient
- Self-motivated
- Fast paced
- Flexible/Adaptable
- Ability to read and follow directions
- Able to read blueprint - preferred
- Proficient with hand tools - preferred
- Inventory Controls
