Bizzy Kidz Kab Company, LLC provides transportation exclusively for kids and teens. Bizzy Kidz Kab is tailored with families' transportation needs in mind providing safe, reliable, convenient transportation. To continue to fulfill our mission Bizzy Kidz Kab is currently hiring drivers for the Rock Hill, Fort Mill, and Charlotte areas.
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Perform routine driving duties transporting children and teens to and from school, after school, activities or clubs, enrichment programs, tutoring lessons, work, appointments, summer camps, field trips, Carowinds, practices, rehearsals, and almost any destination within our service area.
Selected candidates must complete training and pass a physical exam, drug testing, and background checks.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Copy of current/valid driver’s license (South Carolina or State of residence).
- Ability to operate all vehicle types (from minivans to 15-passenger van buses to be used in transporting children and teens. (No CDL Needed).
- Thorough knowledge of State highway operating rules and procedures.
- Ability to deal with exuberant behavioral characteristics of youthful riders.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Inspect vehicles prior to and after daily operations for maintenance discrepancies.
- Operate transportation vehicles over established routes in an efficient and punctual manner.
- Maintain discipline while operating a transportation vehicle following the guidelines.
- Maintain children and teens' daily pickup and drop-off locations and times.
- Drive defensively under varying traffic conditions.
- Perform housekeeping duties inside and outside the vehicle.
- Act in a professional manner exhibiting a positive image in dealing with the children, teens, students, parents, and site coordinators or owners.
- Maintain availability to drive doubled bus runs within the normal contracted hourly day as circumstances require and perform such doubled runs as assigned.
- Conduct emergency evacuation drills.
- Attend workshops and safety meetings as directed.
- Operate a bus on special trip assignments.
- Report personal absences to the supervisor allowing sufficient time to secure a substitute.
- Report vehicle maintenance problems to supervisor or Manager of Vehicle Maintenance.
- Assist in the preparation of route schedules.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager of Transportation Services.
