I.Qualifications for Employment
A.Education (Minimum Requirements):
High School Diploma or GED
B.Employment Experience:
Food service experience
C.Pertinent Other:
·Good written and oral communication skills
·Ability to work well with both adults and children
·Must have Child Abuse Clearance
II.Nature and Scope of Duties:
The position reports to the Director of Viking Child Care Center and performs the following duties:
1.Prepares and serves breakfast, lunch, and snacks
2.Washes dishes, cups, utensils and serving items, etc
3.Keeps accurate records as required by CACFP and Child Care Center
4.Prepares infant bottles as needed
5.Maintains the kitchen in a clean and organized manner
6.Keeps inventory of supplies and provides a list of needed supplies to the office weekly
7.Contacts Food Service Kitchen with food order (when applicable)
8.Covers staff breaks as needed
9.Attends staff training and staff meetings
10.Performs all reasonable related duties as assigned
SALARY RANGE:$16.00-$16.50/hour
