The Burrell College of Osteopathic Medicine invites applications for a faculty position in the Department of Physiology and Pathology. We seek a student-centered individual with a passion for teaching, scholarship, and service. The successful applicant will have demonstrated experience in clinical pathology and/or pathology teaching at a university, graduate school or medical school level. Applicants should be able to teach in one or more content areas across our systems-based curriculum, and have interest or experience in online instruction as well as active teaching and learning modalities. Evidence of scholarship and mentoring, with a strong record of collaboration, publication and productivity, is also preferred in prospective candidates.

One of the nation's newest and most innovative medical schools, the Burrell College of Osteopathic Medicine is located in beautiful Las Cruces, New Mexico, where community, cultural, and outdoor activities are exceptional and plentiful. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Specific Faculty Responsibilities: Burrell faculty appointments follow a 12-month calendar. This is a full-time, fully-funded position but applicants may negotiate for an alternative level of commitment, not less than 50% time, if desired. The start date for this position is flexible; the position will remain open until filled but review of applications will begin immediately. The hired individual will report directly to the Chair of the Department of Physiology and Pathology. Burrell offers a competitive salary and benefits package, commensurate with appointed faculty rank, qualifications, and experience.

Applicants must currently be authorized to lawfully work in the United States on a full-time basis.
