Job description
6 MONTH INTERNSHIP. AVAILABILITY FROM JUNE THROUGH DECEMBER REQUIRED.

This position will provide video support to the Disney Parks, Experiences, and Products Internal Communications and Public Affairs teams. We produce videos for executive events, social media, and various channels around Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort parks. Our team films, lights, records audio, and edits content to provide to our clients.
As a Professional Intern on the Video Production Team, you’ll get to apply and grow your creative video skills by:
Working with executives on confidential projects within the DX segment.
Assisting with developing and driving plans to support DX Public Affairs global video projects.
Being a part of special events and preparing videos on social media.
Using your creative skill, leadership, and partnering skills to assist with executing video shoots and editing content.
Managing video assets by logging, cataloging, organizing, and archiving files.
Demonstrated proficiency in Mac environment and Adobe Premiere Pro.
Experience in video capture, motion graphics, editing, and setup of video equipment, cameras, microphones, and lighting.
A keen eye for high-quality, creative content.
Ability to craft compelling video stories.
Proven self-starter, adept at independent work and managing multiple priorities.
Comfortable with physical demands, including outdoor work in extreme weather, lifting 25 pounds of video equipment, and various physical activities.
Open to flexible hours, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.
Basic knowledge of Disneyland Resort.
Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects.
Experience using cinema-grade cameras such as Sony FS7, Canon EOS C300, etc.
Pursuing a degree in Video Production, Public Affairs, Mixed Use Media, Digital Media, Graphic Arts, Marketing, or a related field (This is a behind-the-camera role, not on screen.)

Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all the below requirements:
Be enrolled in an accredited college/university, taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR have graduated from a college/university within six months at the time of application posting OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.
Be at least 18 years of age.
Possess unrestricted work authorization.
Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or Disney College Program.
This is an onsite internship based out of our Glendale, CA location.
The approximate dates of this internship are May/June 2024 through January 2025. Interns will work 40 hours per week and must be fully available throughout the internship.
Must provide own housing for the duration of the internship. Must have reliable transportation to/from work.
