Global Marketing Director
Position Summary
Singer Vehicle Design’s
Global Marketing Director will develop a global marketing plan with a focus on brand building activities in both new and established markets. This role will be responsible for designing and recruiting a new team with a global presence.
Based from one of Singer’s locations either in the UK or the US, the Global Marketing Director must have experience in brand development for a luxury brand or high-end automotive company and have demonstrated execution of a marketing strategy in one or more of North America, Europe, Asia Pacific and the Middle East.
The role will require an entrepreneurial and hands on approach to access taste-makers, partners and collaborators in new markets.
Essential Function - Design a global marketing strategy focused on brand building activities in key markets
- Recruit a marketing team with a regional presence to execute the strategy
- Develop a regional events plan and localized communication strategy
- Create and deliver Singer driving experiences
- Work with leadership team on defining the Singer brand strategy
- Develop relationships with partners and collaborators in key markets
- Develop a global content strategy for imagery, brochures and videos
- Work with the Sales & Client Experience Team to assess market opportunities
- Develop creative gifting and content strategies to support the client journey
- Develop a strategy for the use of brand ambassadors in key markets
- Represent the Singer brand at key global events
- Identify partnerships and creative collaborations to support brand development
- Identify brand extension opportunities including but not limited to the Singer Reimagined watch business
- Identify opportunities in collaboration with the Hertz Team Jota LMDh race team
- Reflect the values of the Singer brand in all customer and internal interactions
Qualifications
- 10+ total years of experience within luxury automotive industry or equivalent brand industry
- 5+ years of specific experience in marketing and brand development
- English language fluency required
- Experience in recruiting, developing and managing a team
- Bachelor’s degree in business other relevant fields desired
- Strong leadership, organizational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Team oriented, strong ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment and to multiple deadlines
- Strong organizational and collaboration skills with the ability to prioritize effectively and efficiently within and across departments
- Prior experience in rapid growth environment
Physical Demands/Work Environment
- Must be able to work flexibly with multiple time zones
- Must be able to travel for work
- Must be able to use finger, hands, and arms at computer keyboard for long periods of time
- Must have ability to speak clearly and distinctly and hear and be heard and understood in person and by telephone
- Must be able to work in a standing and/or walking position for long periods of time
Compensation (California) The starting salary range for this position is between $177,000 - 222,000 per year, plus an annual bonus plan. Actual compensation will be determined by skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
