Job description
Responsibilities
- Participate in the SOX process, including but not limited to walkthroughs, tests of operating effectiveness, and reporting.
- Perform data analytics for relevant SOX cycles.
- Prepare planning documents, workpapers, and reports
- Assist with continuous process improvement and complete other ad-hoc requests, as needed.
- Maintain good communication with Internal Audit team members
Qualifications
- Proficient in Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint
- Analytical, well organized, good communication skills, strong work ethic and strong desire to learn
- Strong attention to detail and comfort working with large volumes of data
- Team player, with the ability to collaborate cross-departmentally and with internal and external stakeholders.
- Must be able to work 37.5 hours/week during the summer, with possibility of extension into the fall / spring semester at a minimum of 10-12 hours/week
- Currently enrolled in a Finance or Accounting degree program (preferably just completed sophomore year)
