Job description
CDW is seeking a Systems Engineer for a short-term project opportunity.
Location: Onsite, at any of the (3) Locations below
Contract Duration: 2 weeks initially, but likely to extend 3 months
Pay Rate: $55-60/ hr
Responsibilities:
Conduct discovery sessions to assess client needs and requirements.
Execute initial setup and configuration of systems and networks.
Develop comprehensive documentation including system architecture, configurations, and procedures.
Manage and maintain Active Directory and Office 365 environments.
Implement and maintain virtualization technologies.
Design and create network diagrams to illustrate connectivity and infrastructure layout.
Enforce network policies and security measures.
Possess a strong understanding of network connectivity and topology.
Deploy software applications across the network as per organizational requirements.
Demonstrate excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
Requirements:
Proven experience in systems engineering and network administration.
Proficiency in Active Directory, Office 365, and virtualization technologies.
Strong documentation skills with the ability to create detailed network diagrams.
Familiarity with network policies and security measures.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Experience with software deployment methodologies.
(Project is separated into 2 phases)
Phase 1:
Physical staging of security appliance
Manual install of Remote Management Tool
Manual install of security software
Partner with MSP to gain server, systems, network access
Create physical inventory and diagrams
Infrastructure documentation
Phase 2: End user migration support
Post-migration user support
User assistance with MFA and MDM enrollment
Workstation Azure AD and Intune registration
