Job description
Manasota BUDS, Inc. is a volunteer-led 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that is headquartered in Sarasota, FL.
Our vision is to improve the lives of individuals with Down syndrome, champion inclusion, awareness, and the well-being of the Down syndrome community.
This position consists of a blend of remote work, as well as some in-person responsibilities throughout Sarasota and Manatee counties.
Executive Assistant to the Board
- Part-time position
- $27.50 an hour
- 20 - 30 hours per week
Essential Duties, Skills and Tasks
- Computer Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Google Workspace/G-Suite (Google Docs, Calendars, etc.)
- Experience with social media and WordPress preferred
- Basic graphic design skills
- Strong administrative skills
- Fundraising
- Grant writing experience is highly desired
- Soliciting sponsors
- Event coordination
- Organizing Family meetings
- Assisting in the planning and execution of special events, such as the Buddy Walk and World Down Syndrome Day
- Assist and attend monthly board meetings
- Manage telephone and email communications
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalency required
- College degree or relevant college work highly preferred
- Prior experience working with a non-profit organization preferred
- Prior experience as an executive assistant preferred
- Experience with data base (e.g., Salesforce) and/or CRMs highly desired
