Job description

Lanier Technical College – Adult Education Department - () is conducting a search for the following part-time, non-benefits eligible, FLSA non-exempt position. POSITION: ADULT EDUCATION PROGRAM ASSISTANT - Different Campus Locations Available

REPORTS TO: Dean, Adult Education

WAGE RATE: $15/hour; 9 hours per week.

EFFECTIVE DATE: Spring Semester

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for daily data entry, helping students with registration/orientation, ensuring effective customer service and operation of the center, and other clerical duties including light receptionist work. Must demonstrate superb communication and computer skills. Being organized, efficient, and attentive to detail is mandatory. Position requires regular work on site at the Barrow County Adult Education Center inside the Wimberly Center in Winder.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or equivalent is required.
