Responsibilities

We are looking for a Software Engineer/Model Based Systems Engineer who is inquisitive, outgoing, creative, and motivated with sound software programming skills who can effectively collaborate with a fast-paced software development team. You will be asked to:

Apply systems engineering modeling methodologies to develop software system models.
Integrate enterprise tools within a Digital Engineering environment.
Develop software to extend and enhance capabilities of engineering ecosystems consisting of COTS tools through custom software application development and software tool integrations.
Facilitate collaborative meetings between the MBSE modelers and stakeholders to deliver mission needs and help innovate potential solutions.
Provide technical advice and guidance to senior managers regarding the creation and implementation of new MBSE methods and techniques.

Qualifications

BS in engineering, computer science or related technical degree.
Requires 2 to 5 years with BS/BA or 0 to 2 years with MS/MA.
Demonstrated knowledge and practical application of UML / SysML modeling languages and experience applying this common structure to an MBSE solution.
Demonstrated knowledge of Cameo or other UML based Architecture modeling tools.
Strong programming skills and demonstrated experience with Software Engineering Tools, Languages and Technologies (Java, Python, Scripting languages, GitLab, IDEs, CI/CD, Agile, MLOps, DevOps).
Software Application Development and Integration experience (SDK, API, RestAPI, WebApp development).
Familiarity with Cloud Computing technologies (Azure, AWS).
Experience with systems engineering processes in support of system life cycle development.
Basic knowledge of architecture, requirements engineering, CONOPS development, verification, test, and system integration to accommodate End to End Systems Engineering.
Demonstrated communication skills especially with tool developers and senior government officials.
Strong business acumen: ability to relate professionally in the work environment with customers and colleagues.
Motivated, Responsible, and reliable; self-starter with the ability to multi-task.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance with Poly.

Desired Skills:

Experience architecting software solutions.
Microsoft Azure cloud developer experience.
Experienced applying Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to practical technology solutions.
Experience with machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing (NLP)/large language models (LLMs), computer vision.
Experience with machine learning libraries such as sklearn, Pytorch, and TensorFlow.
