We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time (35 + hours per week) Transportation Coordinator. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m..  

The Transportation Coordinator will coordinate all transportation arrangements for the Agency’s operation Adult Day Health Programs (ADH) and After School Day Care (ASDC). The transportation coordinator will coordinate all maintenance for agency vehicles.  He/she will schedule and secure all safety, repair and maintenance issues with all agency transport vehicles.  He/she will work collaboratively with programs to ensure efficient transportation services during program operation.  The Transportation Coordinator will assist in program operations as available and needed.

Responsibilities include::

The Transportation Coordinator requires a High School Diploma or Equivalency. Experience with schedule coordination and supervision of staff required.   Experience with either elders or the disabled (ADH) or children (ASDC) preferred.  Experience driving commercial vehicles preferred. Experience with vehicle maintenance preferred.  Must possess an ability to work with others as part of a team and communicate effectively. Prior experience with EEC rules and regulations preferred.

The Transportation Coordinator will apply for a 7D Massachusetts Operators Driver’s License within 30 days of hire and maintain a valid MA Class D Operators License with good driving record.  Must be able to successfully pass a random drug and alcohol test in addition to being enrolled in a drug consortium for random testing.  Must have current physical and be able to pass EEC background check.  In addition to the EEC background check, the successful candidate will pass a CORI/CPS;  must c omplete and maintain CPR and First Aid certification.
