This is a 100% on site position. Remote work is not available for this role. All candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship requirements.
Position Description
As a structural field inspector, you will be working within the heavy industrial sector. Our clients depend on us to perform inspections on their assets to report deficiencies. Structures that we perform inspections on consist of overhead cranes, industrial buildings, crane runways, stacks, bridges, walking working surfaces, and concrete structures. Working at heights and out of a manlift will be required. Previous certification with Non-Destructive either MT, UT, or PT would also be preferred. You will be working in the field performing these inspections by taking photos and reporting deficiencies to be included in a report which will be issued to the client.
Requirements: - 1-3 years experience in a similar role as a structural field inspector or overhead crane inspector/technician
- High school diploma, or associates degree
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Must be computer proficient and be able to work in the field utilizing a tablet
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to read drawings and make sketches
- Candidate will be required to operate a manlift certification preferred
- Ability to travel and stay overnight away from home
