We are currently looking for an Agile Coach to work remotely with one of our clients for 3-6 months.
An Agile Coach is responsible for leading and coaching teams on the implementation of Agile at Scale methodologies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization. This may include Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), Disciplined Agile (D@D/DAD), Large Scale Scrum (LeSS), Spotify, and other Agile at Scale frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Coaching and guiding multiple Agile teams on the implementation of Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe
- Facilitating Agile ceremonies and events at the program level such as program increment planning, system demos, and system retrospectives
- Ensuring that the program is aligned with the organization's strategic objectives and is delivering value to customers
- Collaborating with other Agile coaches, product owners, and stakeholders to align Agile practices across the program
- Tracking and measuring program-level performance using Agile metrics such as velocity, lead time, and cycle time
- Facilitating communication and coordination among the Agile teams, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and other stakeholders
- Supporting the Agile teams in identifying and addressing impediments that prevent them from achieving their goals and objectives
- Providing regular feedback and coaching to team members to help them improve their Agile practices and behaviors
- Developing and delivering Agile training and education programs for teams, managers, and stakeholders
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of Agile methodologies and practices within the organization
Requirements
- Deep understanding of Agile methodologies and principles - Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), Disciplined Agile (D@D/DAD), Large Scale Scrum (LeSS), Spotify, and other Agile at Scale frameworks
- Have a holistic view of the program and be able to guide the Agile teams in achieving the program objectives while delivering value to customers
- Experience coaching and mentoring Agile teams at the program level including facilitating quarterly planning
- Able to communicate effectively with team members, managers, and stakeholders, and have strong leadership and facilitation skills
- Be flexible, adaptable, and able to work in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Supporting tooling usage and methodology facilitation (Jira Align, Planview, Rally, or other tools)
- Agile Certifications preferred but not required
Salary range: $140,000-$160,000
Please note the national salary range listed in the job posting reflects the new hire salary range across levels and U.S. locations that would be applicable to the position. Final salary will be commensurate with the candidate’s final level and final location. Also, this range represents base salary only and does not include the company bonus or benefits.
