As a Psychological Operations Specialist , you’ll be an expert at persuasion. You’ll assess and develop the information needed to influence and engage specific audiences. You’ll broadcast important information through various mediums and assist U.S. and foreign governments, militaries, and civilian populations.
No Experience Necessary.
Daily Duties:
- Research and analyze methods of influencing foreign populations from a variety of information sources
- Operate and maintain equipment such as ground tactical vehicles and shelter systems, loudspeaker systems, state-of-the-art computers, analog and digital recording and playback devices, and communication systems
- Travel to overseas locations in peace, crisis, and conflict to assist U.S. and foreign governments, militaries, and civilian populations
Training:
- 20 weeks of One Station Unit Training
- Airborne Training, followed by a 10-day Psychological Operations Specialist Assessment & Selection Program
- Psychological Operations Specialist Qualification Course

Requirements:
- Medical: No major medical issues or concerns *Must complete a full medical screening process.
- Moral: No major law violations and have a favorable background *Must complete an FBI background check
- Education: Must have a High School Diploma or Equivalent or be a High School Senior on track to graduate.
- Test: Must pass an aptitude test with ASVAB Score: 105 General Technical (GT)
- Contract: Must enlist into the Army or Army Reserves *This is not a civilian position
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
