SEWS—El Paso Customer Service Center (Eastside)  

 

Job Title Assistant Manager  

Responsible to manage Ford customer production, service parts and PIAS account at El Paso (ECSC).  

Lead CRS's and Operation team in the warehouse.  

Supporting Inbound and Outbound all location to Ford and Tiers, plus.  

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities  

Monitors customer demand for assigned finished goods to assure quality and monitor change, assists internal departments to resolve demand related problems both internally and externally

Manages daily activities of assigned customer wire harnesses production; work with manufacturing partners to quickly resolve

Get to know all assigned finished goods parts, plant locations, production methodologies, related systems, procurement methods, lead-times, and internal warehouse handling procedures to maintain stability.

Utilize production-planning system to manage assigned task and maintain inventory levels in accordance with company policy.

Cognizant of on-hand and in-transit finished goods inventory and departmental inventory plan. Provides instruction

Revise delivery schedule against inventory plan to identify possible internal / external inventory shortages, if any, then communicate to assistant manager and work with manufacturing plant

Works with manufacturing plants to make sure they follows our production plans and make sure they ship schedule production

Formulate a contingency plan based on risk assessment to protect inventory and customer when needed to avoid a major delivery problem.

Participate as an active member of any prototype / new model start-up activity on behalf of production planning business unit. Participate in all meetings and act accordingly to meet department objectives

Updates, controls, and internally disseminates finished good design level change information. Participate on Design Engineer meetings to provide planning information for any design change

 

Qualifications  

Bachelor’s Degree required, Business Management/Supply Chain Management or similar study preferred

8-10 years minimum experience in production and/or material planning and warehouse operations, sequential manufacturing, scheduling, international business and import experience required including 2 -4 years in a supervisory capacity

Strong mathematical skills required

Proficient skills in MS Office ( Excel, Access, Power Point, Word) required

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, Bilingual English/Spanish required

Knowledge of sequential manufacturing, scheduling, international business, import experience preferred

Knowledge of the effective manufacturing and distribution of finished goods, primarily on Automotive industry

Ford Covisint supplier portal experience preferred.
