Job description
Savan Group seeks a Senior Program Analyst to support a federal government client with IT/technical records management initiatives. The Program Analyst will work with a variety of stakeholders, client leaders, and the Savan Group project team to develop integrated project and program plans, presentations, reporting methodologies, management dashboards, lessons learned, and risk reports. The Program Analyst will demonstrate proficiency in developing and maintaining project management artifacts and deliverables. This role will be reporting directly to the Technical Project Manager, managing the team day-to-day, and communicating effectively internally and with business and technical clients daily. The Program Analyst will have demonstrated success in project planning and scheduling, risk and issue management, and performance reporting.
Role Responsibilities: - Review existing systems development documentation and interview stakeholders to help determine gaps, risks, and noncompliance with agency-level and enterprise-level records management policies.
- Lead the development and sustainment of key project management artifacts to aid in the effective management of the project (e.g., project plan, integrated master schedule, risk register, action item tracker, staffing plans, performance reports, dashboarding, etc.)
- Track and provide quality assurance of contract deliverables and major work products, help identify and communicate major milestones, and proactively resolve project issues.
- Support the development of client options and recommendations to mitigate risk and promote a high-performing integrated federal/consulting team.
- Develop and maintain a high level of engagement with client leaders and stakeholders.
- Prepare briefs for client leadership and stakeholders.
- Facilitate client meetings and working groups.
- Brief senior federal leaders and executives frequently with clarity and data-driven recommendations to enable the solutions to move forward on schedule.
- Support requirements elicitation and documentation for a future state assessment of current records technology solutions
- Understand and articulate milestones, dependencies, critical path actions, and risks.
- Support the Project Manager in identifying new business opportunities and working with clients and Savan Group leadership to propose innovative solutions that address and capture new opportunities.
- Perform work following Savan Group’s quality policy and processes.
- Ensure final deliverables are Section 508 compliant.
- Participate in regular internal team meetings and support team collaboration.
- Support internal project administration as requested.
Qualifications and Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of experience
- 2+ years of experience consulting for the Federal Government
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficiency with project management and Agile tools (e.g., JIRA, Microsoft Project, etc.)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple ongoing activities for Public Trust or ability to obtain public trust.
- Ability to effectively complete individual tasks, work in a team environment, and be proactive with little guidance.
- U.S. Citizenship
Preferred Qualifications :
- Active Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) or Agile certification (e.g., PMI-ACP, CSM)
- Experience working in both agile and waterfall project environments.
- Experience with records management
- Public Trust Clearance or higher
