The position will require the utilization of Microsoft Office and Adobe skills to assist and coordinate the development of top-tier marketing materials, competitive proposals, presentations, and event coordination. The role will work collaboratively with staff throughout the company to support overall marketing efforts.

- Coordinate with marketing teams and practitioners in the development of new marketing material or updates to existing material;
- Create first draft/template of news announcements for internal and external posting, as directed and ensure proper circulation for comment;
- Coordinate with practitioners to maintain master resumes, project desriptions and imagery;
- Maintain and manage content libraries, including prior proposals, boilerplates, and visuals;
- Assist with content for online presence, including social media, website and emails;
- Coordinate overall logistics for high-level conferences and events. Monitor and disseminate event planning details to participants and research event attendees;
- Prepare proposal/SOQ pursuit memo (guide to preparing the deliverable);
- Assist with the preparation and/or assembly of written and visual information for client presentations;
- Assist in maintaining scheduling and tracking systems for individual pursuit and proposal elements;
- Help to produce SOQs/proposals, including editing and graphics; formatting, preparing for digital and/or print reproduction;
- Handle production and confirm needed resources to ensure on-time delivery of SOQs/proposals;
- Gather content from team and consultants as needed; maintain content libraries / winning examples-templates;
- Organize and develop task lists from pre-submittal meeting recordings and notes;
- As directed, monitor sources of industry-related market information; distribute potential leads to proposal and marketing teams;
- Review, cull, and maintain select sources of industry-related market information;
- Gather research data related to clients; competitors; past, current, and prospective markets; and relevant corporate experience;
- Assist in maintaining systems to extract, categorize, and retrieve information related to clients, consultants, personnel, projects, prior proposals, boilerplate, visuals, and mailing lists;
- Identify needed pursuit information and lead the creation of MS Teams sites for proposal teams, load folder with key information, and identify and add team members (branch/region/CMSS firm-wide);
- Develop proposal and cover letter templates;
- Assist with graphics concepts and development, writing/content, and proofreading;
- Handle requested edits to marketing content such as press releases and article drafts;
- Coordinate the development and submittal of project award entries;
- Participate in data gathering for strategic plans, reports, and meetings;
- Participate in RFQ/RFP review and/or strategy sessions to analyze a potential client in terms of target market, project size, probability of selection, and timing in order to recommend a go/no go decision;
- Assist in special events planning (e.g. conferences, receptions, open houses, etc.);
- Participate in marketing associations for professional development of marketing functions (i.e., SMPS, APMP); and
- Perform special projects and related work as required.
- Bachelor's degree, an associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college and 2 years of related experience, or 4 years of related experience in a marketing professional services environment for engineering, architecture, commercial construction, or legal firm. (required)
- Proficiency with graphic design and production, desktop publishing and presentation software. (required)
- Working knowledge of the following Microsoft Office and Adobe programs is required: Acrobat, Excel, Illustrator, InDesign, Outlook, Photoshop, PowerPoint, and (required)
- Possess an understanding and/or experience with (i) the RFQ/RFP process, and (ii) techniques associated with the evaluation of promotional activities. (required)

- Ability to provide source material to and critical commentary on advertising/promotional copy, proposals, presentations, and correspondence in a manner that is well written, well organized, and clearly presented. (required)
