Job description
Lava Smoke Shop is a small business in Waterbury, CT. We are looking for one traveling sales representative to join our team and promote our wholesale business. We are located on 154 Meriden Rd. This is a traveling role, that will include commission on top of base pay.
Responsibilities
- Willingness to travel extensively (75% or more of the time).
- Deep and comprehensive knowledge of products we offer, how to use, and how it performs in the market in order to present to clients.
- Self generate sales by soliciting new business to expand client base.
- Outgoing and lively personality, ability to create and maintain relationships with new and existing clientele to build brand.
- Consistently meet weekly sales target
- Maintain a professional attitude representative of our business
Qualifications
- Must have their OWN reliable vehicle, that can operate in all weather conditions, for travel throughout the state. Must be 21 years of age and have valid driver's license. Vehicle must be insured.
- Proven experience in sales, with a successful track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Sales experience in the smoke shop industry desired. Comprehensive knowledge of products sold
- Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset.
- Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
