Interim CFO – Software – North Hills, NY
We are currently seeking candidates for an Interim
Chief Financial Officer position located in North Hills, NY 11030. The position is with a rapidly growing software company. The CFO will report directly into the CEO and serve a strategic member of the company’s executive team. All candidates considered must have previous CFO experience working within a SaaS company and 15+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience. Relevant M&A experience working as the CFO is required.
This is a 6+ month contract position that will pay up to $230 per hour. Responsibilities: - Serve a strategic member of the company’s executive team
- Manage a team of 5
- Oversee compilation of monthly reporting package and communication to PE investors and lenders
- Manage the accounting function, including AP/AR, month end close, audits, etc.
- Work with the controller to Implement accounting policy and procedures
- Own month-end close process, revenue recognition, & audit
- Manage the FP&A function, including financial modeling
- Assist with M&A projects, both buy-side and sell-side
- Decide on investment strategies by considering cash and liquidity risks
- Manage vendor relationships
Qualifications: - 5+ years of CFO experience within the SaaS space
- 10+ years of FP&A & Controllership experience
- Strong understanding the software platform industry
- Previous experience working for a PE/VC backed company
- Proficient in NetSuite (highly preferred)
- Excellent communication and presentation skill
- Ability to present to the company’s board members and PE investors
