Role Summary:

As a Shipping Associate, you will ensure the on-time flow of goods and materials from our manufacturing to our customers. You will provide support to shipping, planning, sales and operations.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

• Monitoring the legally compliant processing exports in the company including but not limited to BIS (Bureau of Industry Security) and DOD (Department of Defense)
• Applying for export licenses and monitoring and handling correspondence with BIS
• Compliance with US export control regulations
• Coordinate pickups, track shipments and troubleshoot problems by contacting shipping companies Store materials on stockroom shelves and bins, keeping area clean and organized
• Maintain organized, current paper files to ensure others can locate paperwork quickly
• Follow detailed procedures in order, accurately and consistently
• Other duties as assigned

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience with SNAP-R
• Experience with Integration Point
• Basic knowledge of warehouse management Strong attention to detail
• Sit Down Forklift experience preferred to move crates in excess of 4000 lbs and over 120" in length
• Experience with ERP / MRP systems such as Oracle or SAP preferred
• Previous experience with the online systems of FedEx, UPS and other carriers is desired
• May be required to lift or push up to 50 pounds
• HS Diploma / GED and 3-5 years relevant experience
