Registered Nurse Opportunity - Wound Care/Dayshift
8am-4pm | Monday-Friday
Aiken Regional Medical Centers, located in Aiken, South Carolina, is a 273-bed acute care facility providing quality healthcare to the residents of Aiken and surrounding communities. Aiken Regional Medical Centers has been ranked a top hospital in South Carolina by the Carolina Center for Medical Excellence for its treatment of heart attack, heart failure and pneumonia. Services provided at the hospital include emergency medical care, orthopedic surgeries, maternity, and behavioral health services. The Wound Care Nurse is responsible for the operation of the clinical activities of the inpatient Wound Management Program. This position holds responsibilities for coordination of clinical services to provide consistent quality care for patients with wounds in the inpatient settings as well as a major focus on the prevention of nosocomial pressure ulcers. Responsibilities include utilization of skills in organization, leadership, planning, implementing, evaluating and providing care of adult and geriatric patients.

QualificationsGraduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program. Minimum 5 years clinical experience; some ambulatory experience highly desired; minimum 2 year prior supervisory or health management experience required. Current South Carolina nursing license. BLS (or obtained during orientation). WOCN certification required.
