POSITION OVERVIEW:
This position is an integral part of the Huntsville City FC marketing and presentation teams, acting as the key stakeholder for all marketing activities for the team. Key activities for this role include facilitating all advertising and promotional campaigns, email marketing, social media content development and matchday presentation.
RESPONSIBILITIES: - Act as the key stakeholder that all activities meet Huntsville City FC brand standards
- Oversee the marketing messaging and themes for the seasonal campaigns
- Collaborate with VP of Marketing and the Ticketing Department to develop ticket sales led programs
- Facilitate all paid media buys including digital, radio, print and other media
- Collaborate with creative team and develop strategies for marketing and sales collateral (emails, presentations, flyers, print brochures, digital assets, direct mail, newsletter ads, etc.).
- Contribute alongside the digital team to develop the content plan that includes club messaging and ensures all partnership assets are fulfilled
- Develop an email calendar and execute all club marketing and informational emails via Marketing Cloud
- Oversee the development of the script and facilitate the production on matchdays. Work with the stadium operations and production teams to ensure all club, league and partner deliverables are met.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or advertising with a minimum of three-four years' experience.
- Specific sports or entertainment marketing preferred, with a revenue generation mindset.
- Strong organizational skills, and capable of managing multiple projects at a time
- Ability to collaborate across multiple departments in order to meet the club’s objectives
- Must possess advanced level Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator helpful, but not required
- Knowledge of photography and videography principles are useful, but not required
- Experience with digital media buying (paid social, programmatic, paid search) and event production software ShoFlo
- Ability to be a team player, contribute ideas and thrive in a collaborative, creative environment.
- Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
