Job description
The YMCA Licensed Childcare department located in Round Rock, TX is now accepting applications for an energetic, dependable and articulate candidate to work the front desk in our fast-paced, family-oriented environment.
General duties will include but are not limited to: greeting and assisting members; providing outstanding customer service; answering phones in a professional manner; general data entry and clerical functions; processing online registrations and email requests; taking payments and handling money. Strong sales background desired, excellent organizational and communication skills, must be able to multi-task efficiently and effectively, be computer literate, and provide an excellent customer service experience.
Punctuality, reliability, and a pleasant personality are a MUST. Cash handling experience is a plus.
Must have availability to work varied hours and various shifts.
Hours for this position will be Monday – Friday working 40 hours per week within the hours listed below:
Monday - Friday 7am - 6:30pm and rare weekends, as needed.
Skills/ Requirements:
-Be at least 18 years of age
-Be friendly, courteous, possess a cooperative attitude and be a team player
-Possess a strong sales background and excellent organizational & communication skills
-Be able to multi-task, be computer literate, and have previous customer service experience
-Be able to work effectively under pressure
-Bilingual preferred
-Have a neat appearance and be well-groomed
-Be willing to uphold the YMCAs core values of caring, honesty, responsibility, respect, and faith
-Pass reference checks, pre-employment drug screen, background check and sex offender check
Pay Rate: $15.66 to $19.00/hour *Pay will be commensurate with experience and skill level*
