Job description

Job Summary

Green Cubes Technology , a high-growth technology company located in Kokomo, Indiana is seeking a highly motivated electrical engineer with the ability to manage design tasks and procedures in a cross-functional discipline manner. Must be capable of technical communication with international engineering teams to drive process and product improvement.

An Electrical Engineer is required to perform risk assessments and ensure compliance with safety standards and electrical engineering codes. We are seeking an energetic electrical engineer who is eager to learn and take on new responsibilities.

As an Electrical Engineer, you will:

Utilize multidisciplinary knowledge of electronic systems design to rapidly solve problems and develop new product offerings.

Design hardware solutions to improve durability, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Communication with global engineering team to transfer design knowledge in support of both product quality improvement and new product offerings.

Test and debug Battery Management Systems (PCBAs).

Lithium-Ion Batteries; High Power Lithium Charging Systems; AC and DC power electronic systems.

Identify root causes for failures and propose corrective actions.

Perform thermal measurements.

Generate test plans and test reports.

Provide resource estimates for new business pursuits.

The right candidate should possess:

Bachelors degree in related field or equivalent years of experience.

Capability of working hands on to understand and solve technical challenges. Must be results driven and detail oriented.

Knowledge of PCB technology.

Knowledge of analogue and power supply circuits, semiconductor components, and digital communication interfaces.

Communication interfaces and protocols knowledge (e.g., CAN, UART, I2C, SPI, etc.)

System design expertise regarding power systems and/or electronic control modules and software.

Experience with instrumentation for electronic design and debug such as Oscilloscopes, Multimeters, power analyzers and Protocol Analyzers.

Experience with methods and tools of failure analysis and root cause identification.

Technical writing, including requirements, specifications, and test plans.

Working knowledge of electronics manufacturing and quality procedures.

Excellent customer service/communication skills.

Ability for domestic and international travel (10-20%) as required for interface with customers, suppliers, and global company resources.
