Job description
We are currently seeking a Dining Service Supervisor to join our team. Join a team who has fun together and enjoys interacting with our caring residents.

- Directs and motivates all hourly staff and administers all personnel programs and policies.
- Stocks all satellite kitchens and maintains inventory.
- Ensures all sanitation procedures are followed in main kitchen and satellite kitchens.
- Oversees seating arrangements in Dining Rooms.
- Assures daily menus are posted in Dining Rooms for all meal periods.
- Assists with scheduling needs of the department.
- Responsible for all facets of Dining Operations and closing including proper stocking of supplies (i.e. china, glassware).
- Balance the register at the end of meal service.
- Hands on Supervisor during meal periods with concentration on healthcare.
- Responsible for setting up/assisting with special functions.
- Acts in a professional manner and maintains a professional atmosphere at all times.
- Responsible for closing shift including complete clean up of kitchen, dishroom and floors.
- Accountable for Safety/Risk Management in the Dining Service Department, and ensuring all regulations are met.
- Responsible for accident investigation and implementation of corrective action, records, temperatures for food, dish machines, and maintains corrective action.
- Attending an annual in-service on body mechanics, right-to-know information and fire & safety procedures.
- Other responsibilities as needed.
- Possesses a thorough knowledge of food service operations, supervision and departmental relations.
- Prior Dining Experience required.
