Job description

Position Summary:

Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Psychology Intern for the Environmental and Occupational Health Sciences Institute ( EOHSI ). The intern will perform psychological intakes, interviews, and case management services; conduct weekly trauma-focused individual psychotherapy; and facilitate outpatient mental health groups. In addition, there are several psychotherapy and support groups that are conducted including but not limited to 9/11 first responder cancer support groups, health & wellness, couples/family workshops, CBT & Mindfulness training, and Process groups. The intern will receive supervision from a highly trained Clinical Psychologist with a background in integrative psychology that combines psychodynamic-psychoanalytic, insight-oriented treatment with psychobiological health.
