The Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF), Fairbanks International Airport (FAI) is seeking a Safety Officer to join our team and help us Keep Alaska Moving!


What you will be doing:

The Safety Officer will coordinate and assist Airport management to ensure compliance with Federal, State and local safety and health laws, standards, and regulations. Perform job hazard analysis, record keeping, accident reporting, and accident investigation. Develop written programs, where required, to address all workplace hazards. Reviews accidents for corrective and preventive actions, recommends solutions for controlling future occurrences.

This position is located in FAIRBANKS, Alaska. Our office is located in the Main Terminal of the Fairbanks International Airport. The selected candidate will work with a collaborative team that is comprised of highly motivated and dedicated individuals who strive to provide excellent service, support and respect.
