New Job Opportunity - Staff Accountant:
New and exciting job opportunity with a client based out of Belcamp, MD. Looking to hire an accounting professional with a minimum of two years of related work experience (Full Cycle Accounting).
Logistics of the Role:
- Full Time - Direct Hire
- On Site
- 65k-75k (Dependent on experience)
Day to Day Activities:
- Maintaining financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts
- Preparing journal entries, analyses, and account reconciliations
- Assisting with the month end close processes - Month End Close experience is required
- Maintaining documentation for accounts receivable, accounts payable, purchasing, and treasury functions
- Performing monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Meeting processing and reporting deadlines.
- Responding to information requests, reviewing financial statements, and assisting with audits
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree is preferred (Accounting, Finance, or Related)
- Minimum of 2+ years of professional accounting experience
- Strong Work Ethic
- Communications and Organizational Skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office Applications
