Part-time and PRN

The Village at Victory Lakes , a part of Franciscan Ministries, is hiring a Transportation Attendant who is customer focused to become a part of a healthcare company whose mission is to celebrate life and serve with joy. They are responsible for the safe transportation of the residents of the campus; in accordance with the IL Department of Transportation regulations and campus policies and procedures. We currently have a Part-time and PRN position open for our campus.

Shift Available:

• Part-time: Sundays 7:00am to 12:00pm
• PRN: Shifts vary

Duties and responsibilities: 

• Transport residents on outings and trips; while also assisting the department associates as needed. 
• Follow safety policies and procedures
• Ensure wheelchairs are secure prior to operation the bus and operating the bus chair lift in a safe manner.
• Promote a team environment within the department and facility.
• Participates in all required in-services and/or department meetings.
• Maintains the Maintenance log for the buses.
• Knows the preferred name of each resident and address them accordingly.

  Required skills and qualifications: 

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• 1-3 years experience
• Current Driver's License
• Flexible schedule, including availability to work as needed, weekends and holidays
• Must enjoy working with the senior population
