• Report each scheduled day, on time, ready and able to work
• Perform vehicle inspection sheet daily, identifying any mechanical issues
• Responsible to follow all Company and DOT rules and regulations regarding the safe operation of the truck
• Inspect all supplied tools such as chains, straps, and cables to ensure equipment is in a good and safe condition
• Report any issue that restricts the ability to complete the dispatch in a timely manner.
• Ability to drive and perform duties via interstate for towing, recovery, and/or transport
• Other duties as assigned 

Qualifications, Education, and Experience

• High school diploma or GED (preferred), 
• At least two (2) years of driving experience
  
  

Competencies and Abilities

• Good customer service skills, professional demeanor
• Must be able to speak, write and communicate in English
• Basic mechanical skills and ability to use tools
• Attention to detail and accuracy when documenting work, hours, and information

Physical Requirements -  The job requires lifting, crawling, pulling, constant use of hands, significant bending and reaching, climbing. significant physical strength and stamina. Ability to lift and pull at least 50 lbs. good hearing and vision required.
