Performs housekeeping, and patient transporter duties. Housekeeping services include cleaning restricted and unrestricted areas. Patient Transporter duties involve movement of equipment, supplies, specimens, and occasionally patients. Provides care and/or service to surgery neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult or geriatric patients undergoing surgical intervention and to women of child bearing age in Perinatal.
REQUIRED
1. Must be able to read, write, and follow written and oral instructions.
2. Maintains current CPR certification
PREFERRED
1. Demonstrated knowledge of sterile techniques and universal precautions.
