We have a R-9 night RN that would like to transfer to CICU. In order to facilitate this for a 12 week orientation ,we would like to transfer her now. R-9 cannot absorb the shifts without a traveler for nights.

Unit Information:

Number of Beds: 24

Patient Ratios: 1:6 [ Days] 1:8 [Nights]

Equipment: Telemetry, IVs, PCA, epidurals, air mattresses, tube feeding, NGs, drains, foleys, PICCs

EMR: EPIC

Hiring Profile:

Must Have Skills/Experience: , Glucometer, Hourly Rounding

Procedural cardiac experience [ Angio, Pacemaker, ICD]

Preferred Skillset/Experience: Cardiac, M/S, PCU

Type of Patients on Unit: All Cardiac, heart failure, MIs, Arrhythmias, Syncope, CM, Procedural Cardiology Patients [ Cardiac Cath, EP Studies, Pre-Open Heart]

Personality Fit: Extremely Acute, Hard Working Team Player, Accountable, Flexible

Dress Code:

Scrub Color: Any Fragrance Free

Any unacceptable attire: Hoodies, Non-Scrubs, No Artificial Nails

Misc./Other Information:

We would like to begin transitioning R-9 staff who desire to transfer to CICU now so they can have a 12 week orientation to CICU before the move date. R-9 census remains > 20 on night shift. We need travelers to backfill the vacancy we will create with transferring staff to CICU from R-9. Thank you
