Job description
The objective of a Product Specialist position is to deliver comprehensive product support, expertise, and guidance to customers and Technicians. The primary goal is to ensure utmost customer satisfaction by assisting with product selection, addressing inquiries, and providing suitable options. The Product Specialist aspires to become a trusted advisor to customers, aiding them in making well-informed purchasing decisions and ensuring a positive experience with the company’s products. This role also involves offering premium site visits, conducting virtual appointments, providing showroom support, and assisting Technicians with sales-related tasks. This is not a remote position.

- $68,000 per year plus performance bonus.
Responsibilities:
- Obtain and maintain necessary certifications, demonstrating expertise in products and installation procedures.
- Develop comprehensive knowledge of company products and associated installation processes.
- Assist customers via various channels, including phone, email, and in-person interactions.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills, effectively conveying technical information to customers.
- Prioritize customer satisfaction, maintaining a customer-centric approach in all interactions.
- Possess sales experience, leveraging product knowledge to drive sales and meet targets.
- Maintain a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel to customer locations for on-site visits.
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales and installation process.
- Collaborate with customers to identify their needs and recommend suitable products.
- Follow up with customers to ensure their satisfaction with the product and address any outstanding issues or concerns.
- Conduct on-site assessments to ensure accurate product recommendations and installations.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in products and installation techniques.
- Assist with resolving customer inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and quality standards.
- Maintain organized records of sales and installations for reporting purposes.
- Actively participate in training programs to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in sales.
- Strong computer skills.
- Excellent communication skills: Effective verbal and written communication abilities, with the capability to convey technical information to customers in a clear and concise manner.
- Customer-centric mindset: A strong dedication to providing exceptional customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to customer locations for on-site visits.
