Job description
This role can be based anywhere in the US but will have occasional travel requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop structural and seismic engineering plans, drawings, and specifications for various large commercial projects
- Analyze design requirements and make appropriate calculations
- Conduct structural analysis and prepare models
- Conduct site visits, inspections, and tests as needed
- Provide guidance and technical support to other team members
- Monitor and maintain project design documents
- Attend site visits and in-person meetings with clients, design teams, subcontractors, vendors, etc
Qualifications:
- SE License in California and Hawaii (or willing to obtain)
- 7+ years experience working as a Structural Engineer for large commercial projects
- Knowledge of seismic analysis software
- Experience with nonlinear static + dynamic analysis and modeling
