Job Description:

Balanced Business Group (BBG) is a team of wine and food nerds. In addition to being great with numbers, we are organized, detail-oriented, and very comfortable with software. We specialize in serving food and wine brands.

Our Bookkeepers act as Account Managers for our food and wine clients. They coordinate internally with Accounting Clerks, Inventory Accountants, and FP&A experts to ensure work is done timely and accurately. Their main task is to communicate company financials and analysis to our clients. They are organized and self-driven accounting professionals that thrive in a deadline-driven environment. They are very comfortable making decisions when necessary, but they have the experience and judgement to know when to raise their hand to ask a question. On top of it all, they are great with people and build trusting relationships with their clients.

Duties & Responsibilities
Communicate financial concepts and analysis to food and wine entrepreneurs
Use industry expertise to recommend process improvements to maximize accuracy and efficiency within our financial statement close process
Delight customers with expert guidance and support
Manage customer deadlines and expectations in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Prepare monthly and quarterly sales, property, and excise tax statements ensuring full legal compliance
Proficiently use QuickBooks, QuickBooks Online, Bill.com, Gusto and QuickBooks Time
