Job Title: Medical Technologist
Location: Utica, NY 13502
Duration: 13 Weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 40
Shift:8-10 hrs - Night
Pay: $60-65/hour
Duties :
- Performs clinical testing in at least two of the following areas: blood bank, microbiology, serology, chemistry, hematology, or urinalysis.
- Processes and receives specimens, understands method principles, performs QC procedures, interprets results as to accuracy, acceptability and critical limits.
- Works independently, organizing work to meet established deadlines.
Required :
- Minimum 1 year experience laboratory work (may be part of clinical training program).
- New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist license required.
- Baccalaureate degree in Medical Technology or related science with approved medical clinical training.
