Position Summary:

This position processes incoming revenue to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission’s (FWC) Revenue Section within the Finance and Budget Office and is located in Tallahassee, Florida. This position is responsible for processing and tracking incoming mail and payments to ensure accuracy and timeliness. Interested candidates should possess strong attention to detail and exceed in communicating effectively.

The FWC’s mission is to manage fish and wildlife resources for their long-term well-being and the benefit of people. Accomplishing this mission requires teamwork among policymakers, conservation professionals, and highly trained law enforcement. The FWC’s policy is guided by Commissioners, appointed by the Governor, who serve as volunteers to be the trustees of fish and wildlife resources.

As a member of the Finance and Budget Office, this position supports all FWC programs and is an integral part of the revenue processing for the agency.

 

 

Position Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for ensuring all revenue received is processed timely and correctly, as required by statute. This includes, but is not limited to, revenue contracts, documentary stamps and gas tax, timber sales, vessel registrations, surplus property auction proceeds, and Coastal Protection by Florida Statute (from DEP).

This position is responsible for preparing Revenue receipts (payments) for deposits, running monthly reports and other needed tasks to support the Revenue unit.
