JOB DESCRIPTION

We"re looking for entrepreneurial minded agents who can take initiative to manage their own office and take care of their own clients. You will be responsible for generating leads, making appointments, providing high quality service and being a strong representative of our brand. This position requires personal interaction with clients, and we want someone who is capable of establishing long-term relationships.

RS Financial Services has been in operation since 2014, with consistent and rising growth over time. We want to be the best insurance agency for brokers which is why we invest in our agents. Join our team of highly skilled, heavily compensated insurance agents.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

To work as an insurance agent, you must have at least a high school diploma.

Agents must be licensed by their respective states.

Before taking the license test, each state mandates that applicants complete pre-licensing hours. Furthermore, agents must meet these standards for each type of insurance you wish to offer.

Maintaining an insurance license requires agents to continue education.

Principal function is to sell insurance policies. Good sales abilities will help fulfill sales targets and expand customer base.

Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. You will need to build connections with consumers, educate them, and contact them on a regular basis.

Requires basic mathematical skills to calculate premiums and deductibles. Ability to swiftly add, subtract, divide, and multiply percentages.

Agents must also employ their negotiating abilities to persuade clients to select a policy that benefits both the client and the insurance business. In order to successfully maintain and manage customers" policies and personal information, agents must have great organizational skills.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Promote the insurance agency to customers who need insurance

Network with potential customers

Educate customers on each type of insurance coverage and make recommendations based on their needs

Evaluate current insurance policies and recommend additional coverage when needed

Maintain all insurance documents in a confidential way

Balancing Administrative/Operational Work With Sales

Finding New Leads

Getting Renewals

Managing Changes in Customer Expectations

Keeping Up With Technology

Agents are required to travel, attend meetings, join the local chamber of commerce, attend health fairs or events

Other duties may include networking, business development, and presentations.
