Summary
As a General Affairs Manager, you will support the General Affairs Team through managing subordinates, coordinating executive travels, living arrangements, and preparing documents for HQ.
The incumbent will manage a team that is responsible for providing General Affair services to offices and plants area and supporting Korean Expatriates who are dispatched from HQ. They will also administer the Company's Auto Lease Program for Managers and above, serves as the host of the special event for VIP visits and tours and the Outstanding Team Member Award Program, administers International Travel, writes Manager's newsletter, and assists the General Administration and Human Resources Organization in implementing daily assignments and annual events.
In the early stage of company establishment, The General Affairs Manager will contribute a lot to the establishment of MOBIS North America Electrified Powertrain, LLC with various operating standards and systems, support establishment of the construction of buildings/facilities/equipment and to support employees. After the establishment of a corporation, you will oversee operations of standards and systems. Of course, even at this stage and if necessary, standards and systems can be improved.
ABOUT MOBIS NORTH AMERICA ELECTRIFIED POWERTRAIN, LLC
MOBIS North America electrified Powertrain, LLC (MNAe) is a Tier 1 supplier of BSA and PE systems, which are vital parts to produce electric vehicles, based on state-of-art manufacturing technology related to battery system assembly.
Essential Functions (To perform within this position successfully, the incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.)
- Supervises and directs a team of administrative professionals on tasks and special projects.
- Train new Team Members in the administration department on their duties and responsibilities.
- Researches and prepares proposal for improved services and products to support Team Member morale.
- Manages annual activity plans, preparation, and execution .
- Work environment improvement activities such as handling employee complaints w/ improvement activities.
- Effectively negotiate, and periodically review contracts for office services and equipment.
- Manages the office work environment and office products for all offices and plants: Office supplies, equipment (printer, water purifier, coffee machine), fixed assets, etc.
- Coordinates the repair and maintenance of office equipment, to include making recommendations to order new equipment as needed.
- Designs and Administers the Company's Internal Travel Program for all Team Members coordinate with affected departments to ensure that travel invoices are paid in timely.
- Purchases Supervise routine and non-routine office purchases such as stationery, Workstation and facility, and other new office facilities and make sure the stock is sufficient, housekeeping stock requests, material & facility, including maintenance.
- Maintains good relationships and negotiates with vendor while, increasing suppliers' option.
- Coordinates and assists with setting up new Team Members' workstations to include telephone, computer, name plates for cubicles and mailboxes, office supplies.
- Administers the Company's Auto Lease Program, assists Managers and above in-vehicle ordering, titling, registering, and tags, and ensures timely payment of monthly invoices.
- Participates in annual business planning, submits requests for annual travel budget expenses, and monitors spending using SAP systems.
- Assists the General Affairs and Human Resources Departments in planning and implementing new and recurring events.
- Managing the documents utilizing the corporate information security policy
- Coordinates with incoming Korean Expatriate Team Members to assist in obtaining temporary and permanent housing, utilities, social security cards, drivers licenses, and school admission for expatriate children.
- Provides on-call assistance to Korean Expatriates as needed.
- Assists with out-processing logistics for Expatriates and family members upon their return to Korea.
- Provides GA Service nearby Hyundai MOBIS Affiliates in North America (if necessary)
- Other duties and tasks as assigned.

Basic Qualifications (The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required and preferred for this position.)
Preferred Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Business Management, or related experiences
- High School Diploma required.
- 3-5+ years of office/administrative experience
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Fluent in both English and Korean Preferred
- Departmental budgeting experience
- Previous experience in a fast-paced industrial manufacturing environment
- Ability to develop, implement, and manage strategic plans.
- Must be goal-oriented, customer-focused, and results-driven.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven interpersonal, communication, and time management skills.
- Proven experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- A working knowledge of Auto Lease Programs
- Knowledge of Human Resources Information Systems, SAP preferred.
